Public College Enrollment by Race
In 1992, only a quarter of undergraduates in Virginia's four-year public colleges were non-white. Over the last thirty years, that number has grown to one half. See how enrollment has changed for students of different races during that time period.
Notes: Undergraduate fall enrollment at Virginia's four-year public colleges. Students who identified as Hispanic are only counted in the "Hispanic" category, regardless of race. "Unknown" data first reported in 2000. "Multi-Race" data first reported in 2010.
